Valentines at the Library
Looking for another way to share the love this Valentine's Day? Make some valentines for the residents at Spruce Terrace in Kearny. The Kearny Public Library Children's Room is collecting valentines from February 1-10. They can be homemade or store-bought, just as long as they are signed. You can bring one, ten, as many as you want to the Children's Room at the Main Library, 318 Kearny Ave. When you drop off your valentines, you can also pick up a prize to take home to help you celebrate this loving holiday.
Valentines for Your Valentine classes
If you don't have valentine-making supplies at home, you can attend our Valentines for Your Valentine classes on Thursday and Friday, February 9 and 10 at 4:30 p.m. at the Main Library. You can spend an hour making valentines for your family and friends as well as for the residents at Spruce Terrace. You can also enjoy some Valentine stories, too. No registration is needed. You can call us if you have any questions about the card collection. Thanks, and Happy Valentine's Day!
